Kaitlyn Harris-Hertel

Kaitlyn Harris-Hertel began working as an associate attorney at Patterson Law Firm in 2023 and represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters.

Prior to law school, Kaitlyn worked as a paralegal at Patterson Law Firm for several years, where she honed essential legal skills and developed a deeper passion for the law.

Kaitlyn graduated with a J.D. and Certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2023. While in school, Kaitlyn clerked for Judge David B. Atkins in the Chancery Department of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She also participated in Chicago-Kent’s Civil Litigation Clinic where she assisted clients with employment discrimination matters and provided client screening and case intake support, and participated in the Mediation Clinic where she earned mediator certification through the Chicago Center for Conflict Resolution and mediated cases originating from the Circuit Court of Cook County. Kaitlyn holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
