David L. Sanders is a Member at The Patterson Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Sanders represents clients in a variety of legal matters including legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, shareholder disputes, and cryptocurrency litigation.
Mr. Sanders has experience representing plaintiffs and defendants, as well as insurers and insureds. Mr. Sanders graduated from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2007. Before that Mr. Sanders went to University of Washington where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and graduated cum laude. In law school Mr. Sanders was a member and editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Human Rights. Mr. Sanders was also involved in the Bluhm Legal Clinic assisting clients in civil litigation matters. He is currently a member of the Illinois Bar Association Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission and has served in that capacity since 2021-2022.
Prior to joining The Patterson Law Firm, LLC, Mr. Sanders was an associate at a Chicago law firm where he litigated a variety of cases on behalf of businesses and individuals, both at the trial and appellate level. Prior to practicing in Chicago, Mr. Sanders practiced in Washington for over 7 years.
Mr. Sanders is licensed to practice in Washington State and Illinois. In addition, Mr. Sanders is licensed to practice before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
